Prayer That Brings Peace PDF Print E-mail

In the stormy world, that we live in, it is certainly a blessing to enjoy the peace of God.  To the surprise of no one, God gives us the process/format to enjoy His peace. The start of that process is when a person calls on Jesus for salvation. My professor in College reminded us that Christianity is both inclusive and exclusive. No one but Jesus can save us and He will save anyone who will call upon Him. Hallelujah

Philippians 4: 6-7

Although taking time to be in our prayer closet, i.e. somewhere alone with God; there is also strength and power in prayer with another saint.

Different groups and individuals will say that Jesus was a great person or perhaps even a prophet. Jesus declares Himself to be very unique.  John 14:6

Should we say, grasp, believe, or even shout from the rooftops that Christ is alive, is from God, and can take away the sins of the world? Look at what the false prophets were saying about Jesus.  1 John 4:3

Do we sin?  1 John 1: 8-10

The Words of John Phillips About Jesus. PDF Print E-mail

“He never uttered a hasty, unkind, untrue, or frivolous word. He never entertained an impure thought. His talents never debased for selfish ends. His influence, never bad. His judgment, never wrong. He never had to apologize for anything that He did or retract a single word He said. He was never too late or too soon, never upset, never insipid, never shallow or afraid. . . He had absolute victory from the moment He drew his first breath in that Bethlehem barn until the moment He closed His eyes in death on the cross of Calvary.”
