"I thought I was going to be a blessing by visiting that family, but they blessed me."

The Lord will always bless His work in and through His people. All we have to say, whether we're on the job, out in the community, or sitting in the family room, is "Lord, here am I send me." May we have the "get up and go" of Isaiah, and the "follow through" of Daniel.

Isaiah 6:8

Daniel 12:13

Recently Bro. Danny sang a song for worship entitled: BLESS YOUR NAME AGAIN. Written by Daryl K. Williams & Ben Storie C. 2007 Christian Taylor Music CCLI#455575

Here are the words, please allow them to minister to your heart.

I could ask you for a miracle, you know I stand in need.

I could seek your hand to move and touch my family.

But I push aside these temporary trials that I face.

Lord, I just want to bless You with my praise.  (Chorus)

Lord, I've come to bless Your Holy name again

Just once more before I say, "Amen."

You're my Jesus, my Redeemer, my Savior, and my Friend.

Lord, I've come to bless Your Holy name again.

I could never count how many ways You've made my life complete.

Lord, Your mercy is the reason why my spirit sings.

Though my words could never fully tell the story of Your grace

I just love to rest in Your embrace.

CHORUS

You're my Jesus, my Redeemer, my Savior and my Friend.

Lord, I've come to bless Your Holy name again.

Saving for a Rainy Day PDF Print E-mail

Proverbs 21:20 (NASB)

20There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise,
But a foolish man swallows it up.

There is more to life that the thrill of living on the Emerald Coast of Florida. A successful life is a life that is planned.

The Bible, much less the economy, teaches all of us to save for a rainy day. As the Proverbs indicates it is certainly wise to put back for some unforeseen challenge.  I've heard it said, "work very hard to put back three months of salary" to help one get through any type of disruption in your paycheck.

Please note two different websites on "Websites That We Like" tab that will give you great information on planning your financial future and/or heritage. Please share the sites with your family and friends. pm
