Oakland Baptist Church Fort Walton Beach

Pastor Mick Garner came to serve at Oakland Baptist Church in 2007. He and his wife, Darla, have called the Emerald Coast home since an Air Force assignment brought his family to this area. He has a Master's Degree from Liberty University and spends free time reading and enjoying the wonderful ocean views. Pastor Mick's passion for solid biblical preaching and love for the Savior always challenges the church family and visitors to live for Christ.

Minister of Music, Bro. Danny Adkison, has been serving at Oakland since 2003. He brings with him many years of Musical Leadership and dedication to his Lord. He and his wife, Lucille, raised their family in this area and now enjoy the many wonders their grandchildren bring them.  Bro. Danny is well appreciated for his love for his Lord, his energetic personality, and his love for the people of God.
